Honestly use to go to movies on a regular basis, but there has been not visible upkeep or maintenance done to the place in years, prices have gone up, portions reduced and no refills on drinks/popcorn anymore (cheapest items cost wise and most expensive to buy). Sound periodically crackles, and when theatre is packed barely turn on the A/C so it gets uncomfortable in the theatres.
First off the voicemail is horrendously fast I cannot understand one word that guy is saying. Also im sure this isnt Moose Jaw galaxys fault but every theatre needs to lower their prices if they want people to keep coming because its a joke how expensive it is. It is such a scam and a money grab.
This is a great movie theatre to come to. The theatres are normal sized compared to other galaxy cinemas in other cities that I've been to. The staff has always been great to deal with at concession purchasing tickets and food. It seems like they tend the keep the theatres pretty clean even with such short times in between showings. The bathrooms have always been fairly clean as well. We love to play the claw game here too whenever we have a couple extra loonies in our pockets
Pretty cold, I dont know.... the fo-yo wasn't blended well and overall it tarnished my experience. Upon my next return I hope to see improvements.
Generally friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness depends on how busy they are, which is not uncommon for all cinemas. The cinema is cold, so I would suggest you take a light sweater or bunny hug if you get cold easily. The concessions are pricy but this is not unique to this location. Never had old popcorn but I have also not been to the first show of the day though, so I couldnt say if they re-use popcorn left over from the night before. Watch out for ice at the front door in the winter.
