Campground is well spread out, sites are a good size. Not many trees as it is a newly developed campground so it gets dusty but will be better once their trees grow. Bathrooms are great, very clean and well kept. The only thing they could improve is having a firepit at each site and letting you burn your own wood. I won't pay $15 for a handful of wood. Not worth it. Otherwise, would recommend this place if you are camping in Moose Jaw.
The person working the front desk was so lovely. We were the only tent reserved and she worried that the weather was not going to cooperate enough for us to have a pleasant stay, she commented that she was going to call us if it didn't clear up, which we greatly appreciated. We were also moved purposely to a site with more grass for our tent. The washrooms were clean and well maintained and the sites and campground were easily located. We would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone!
The staff was not a good ambassador for Moose Jaw. Told us there was nothing here to see. We stayed two nights. We asked for a picnic table and never got one. The washroom was not cleaned. Showers did not have any area to sit down which would make it easier particularly for older clients. Generally staff were not friendly. We have been camping for over 40 years and this is not the sort of atmosphere that we usually receive when camping.
Nice camp ground. Wish there was a park for the kids. Very nice owners. However I would give it a five star but the TRAIN!! it's very loud ,rattals our camper. And even hooks up at 11 pm .. also they are always working on the tracks and buildings so it's very loud. .. no fault to the campground . We are here long term so will update if the noise gets better. Could just be early maintenance. As we were told the train very rarely comes by :'( hard to get toddler to nap witht noise. But overall very well kept and "quite park" minus the train and high way .Update: train now hooks up and changes tracks at 2&3am!!! I spoke to the agro Corp and they said that it'll happen every other week !!!
Great find after being directed to a fakeCampground close by in Moose Jaw (have reported this to GoogleBuffalo Hills). Husband told me it had best and easiest hook ups of any on our trip so far. Clean bathrooms but would suggest to hosts that they add some hooks and a bench to keep things off the floor. Easy access to Trans Canada and WIFI throughout park. Although we were in the newer section which is a bit bleak, there were some lovely shady spots on the older part of the campground.
