Pretty average municipal campground. Flat sites, so easy to park and set up. Warm showers, although washrooms were dated and could use some cleaning. I would have given this park a higher rating, except our site was given to someone else without anyone letting us know and I had reserved that particular site almost 3 months ago. When we got there the office was closed, so no one was able to provide details of the change. Poor organization and communication on the part of the campground.
Really friendly staff. The area is beautiful. Nice little walk to do close of the campground. I really enjoyed my time.
Very nice little campground. This is our second time here and would go back again. It is a very quiet campground just outside of the city of Moose Jaw, minutes to everything. Wood was a decent price (sold by the Rubbermaid tub full, and brought to your campsite by the staff). Check out was a bit early (noon), but they were gracious to give us a little more time to get out so we could make it to church and back. :)The shower/bathroom facility was a bit dirty and stinky (hense the loss of a star), but the showers were large and free of charge!! The sites were nice, although our site was quite narrow for our large camper with slide, so make sure you ask for a larger site if you have a larger camper. The view of the river and trees was pretty. There is also a nice park and green space with bike/walking paths right beside the campground. Kayak/canoe rentals are also right next door. I would recommend this campground for sure.
Not a good campsite, the site was messy. No playground on site as shown on the map, dirty washrooms and next to a heavily industrial area, the air was thick with tar. There werent many options in the area, next time well just drive through or go off track to find somewhere nicer.
We stay here for a month every year. They have great rates, friendly staff, two playgrounds in walking distance, boat rentals, and an amazing burger joint. Other great benefit is that its 2 minutes from downtown and all the amenities of a city, but with all the joy of camping in a beautiful river valley.
